In a Joint Effort to Protect the Environment and Align with Global Sustainable Development Goals, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, through its leading brands GT Radial and IRC, proudly supported the Marunda Beach Cleanup Activity in North Jakarta on Saturday, November 25, 2023. This initiative was a collaboration between the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (FTUI), along with the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (IMM) and the Civil Engineering Student Association (IMS) FTUI.
The event attracted strong enthusiasm from FTUI students, with hopes that it will spark further collaborative environmental actions within the university community.
“As a tire manufacturer, our commitment to environmental preservation is essential. In line with this, all IRC tires are now sold without plastic packaging,” said Mr. Leonard Gozali, Head of Marketing at PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk.
This social event was a display of solidarity, with more than 100 students participating from morning until afternoon. “This activity is very positive, and we hope it will continue in the future,” commented Allya Khairunnisa, Head of Social and Environmental Affairs of BEM FTUI 2023.
